As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Procurement & Vendor Specialist to strengthen our supply chain organisation and support the continued development of our supplier network.

About the Role

As a Procurement & Vendor Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, repair services and external support required to meet operational and customer requirements.

You will play a critical role in ensuring approved suppliers consistently deliver the quality, responsiveness and commercial performance necessary to support a world-class aerospace operation.

Working closely with Planning, Production, Engineering and Customer Support teams, you will manage supplier relationships, monitor performance and drive continuous improvements across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure component parts, materials and repair services from approved suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage purchase orders throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and repair partners worldwide.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial terms to support operational and business objectives.
  • Monitor supplier commitments and ensure on-time delivery performance.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvement initiatives where required.
  • Track and manage supplier KPIs related to quality, delivery and cost performance.
  • Support supplier approval, qualification and monitoring activities.
  • Manage supplier escalations and drive timely resolution of supply chain issues.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, lead-time improvements and supply chain optimisation.
  • Support long-term sourcing strategies and vendor development initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities support business priorities.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company procedures, regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing or supplier management.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and commercial negotiations.
  • Strong analytical and commercial capabilities.
  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational and follow-up capabilities.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Experience in the Following Areas Would Be Considered an Advantage:
