Tool and Calibration Supervisor

ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions, a leading Nacelle MRO provider, is seeking a structured and analytical individual to take ownership of our tool management and calibration processes.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all tools and Equipment used within the organization are managed, tracked, calibrated, and maintained to the highest standards. Although experience from aviation and EASA Part‑145 environments is advantageous, it is not required—we welcome candidates from other industries with strong technical and organizational skills.

As a Tool and Calibration Supervisor at ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions, you will oversee tool control processes, manage calibration routines, and support our operational teams by ensuring that tools are always ready, traceable, and compliant with applicable standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility of the company’s tool management system and its continuous improvement.
  • Manage and follow up on calibration schedules through digital systems.
  • Oversee maintenance, condition checks, and operational readiness of all tools.
  • Ensure proper storage, traceability, and availability of equipment.
  • Coordinate procurement of new tools and replacement of non‑conforming equipment.
  • Manage the tooling budget, ensuring cost control and accurate forecasting.
  • Serve as primary contact for internal and external audits related to tool control and calibration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong technical background from any industry involving tools, equipment management, calibration, or maintenance.
  • High level of structure, accuracy, and ability to work systematically with digital tracking systems.
  • Experience working with or implementing digital systems for calibration, booking, or tool tracking.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and improve procedures, routines, and workflows.
  • Proficiency in procurement and supplier coordination.
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.


Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience from aviation, MRO, or engineering workplaces.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part‑145 requirements.
  • Familiarity with AS9110, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Experience in audits and compliance reporting.

Experience

  • Experience developing or improving routines, processes, or digital systems.
  • Experience in controlling and running a tool and calibration system is advantageous but not necessary.
