Production Support Manager

ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions, a leading Nacelle MRO within Commercial Aviation, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop and processes.

As Production Support Manager at ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions, the individual will be responsible for a variety of duties aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of the workshop and optimizing processes to ensure Safety & Compliance.

Some of the key duties include:

  • Role Overview:

    The Production Support Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the Production Manager in the daily operations of the aircraft component maintenance and repair workshop. This position ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across production processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operational Support
      Support the Production Manager in overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient resource coordination and timely achievement of production targets. The Deputy Production Manager is responsible for executing specific segments of the production plan, maintaining close coordination with the Production Planning & Control (PPC) and Engineering teams.
    • Process Development & Optimization
      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance maintenance and repair processes, ensuring alignment with aviation standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Quality Assurance
      Conduct inspections and audits to uphold quality standards and regulatory compliance. Address deviations proactively.
    • Documentation & Inventory Oversight
      Maintain accurate documentation and monitor inventory levels to prevent discrepancies and ensure smooth operations.
    • Change Management
      Lead or support initiatives involving new technologies, processes, or organizational changes. Guide teams through transitions.
    • Regulatory Compliance
      Stay updated on EASA Part 145 and other relevant aviation regulations. Ensure all workshop activities meet safety and compliance standards.
    • Safety & Compliance Investigations
      Lead or participate in investigations related to safety or regulatory breaches. Implement corrective actions and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

    Experience:

    • Prior experience in the aviation industry, preferably in an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) setting
    • Demonstrated leadership and managerial capabilities
    • Experience in change management and process improvement initiatives

    Required Qualifications & Skills:

    • Strong organizational and process development skills
    • Structured and detail-oriented approach
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and IT systems
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proactive mindset with problem-solving capabilities
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    • Knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations
