Deputy Production Manager

ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions, a leading Nacelle MRO within Commercial Aviation, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop and processes.

As Deputy Production Manager at ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions, the individual will be responsible for a variety of duties aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of the workshop and optimizing processes to ensure Safety & Compliance.

Some of the key duties include:

  1. Assisting the Workshop Manager:
    Support the Workshop Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating activities, and managing resources to meet production targets and deadlines.

  2. Process Development and Improvement:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine processes for aircraft component maintenance and repair, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

  3. Organizational Skills:
    Utilize strong organizational skills to schedule and prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and maintain orderly workflows within the workshop.

  4. Quality Assurance:
    Ensure that all work carried out in the workshop meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities.

  5. Attention to Detail:
    Exercise keen attention to detail when reviewing documentation, tracking inventory, and monitoring the progress of ongoing projects to identify potential issues or discrepancies.

  6. Proactive Approach:
    Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, anticipating challenges and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure smooth operations.

  7. Communication Skills:
    Maintain open and effective communication channels with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities, share information, and address any concerns or issues that may arise.

  8. Team Collaboration:
    Work collaboratively with workshop staff and other departments to foster a positive team environment, promote cross-functional collaboration, and achieve shared goals and objectives.

  9. Change Management:
    Lead or support change management initiatives aimed at implementing new processes, technologies, or organizational changes. Provide guidance and support to team members during periods of transition.

  10. Compliance with Aviation Regulations:
    Stay updated on relevant Aviation regulations and ensure that all activities within the workshop are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.

  11. Safety and Compliance Investigation:
    Lead or participate in safety and compliance investigations to identify root causes of incidents or non-compliance issues. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified concerns and prevent recurrence. Ensure that all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered to throughout the workshop operations

By fulfilling these duties, the Deputy Production Manager contributes to the overall efficiency, productivity, and success of the workshop operations at ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions.
