Deputy Production Manager
ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions, a leading Nacelle MRO within Commercial Aviation, is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop and processes.
As Deputy Production Manager at ST Engineering Aerospace Solutions, the individual will be responsible for a variety of duties aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of the workshop and optimizing processes to ensure Safety & Compliance.
Some of the key duties include:
- Assisting the Workshop Manager:
Support the Workshop Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, coordinating activities, and managing resources to meet production targets and deadlines. - Process Development and Improvement:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine processes for aircraft component maintenance and repair, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements. - Organizational Skills:
Utilize strong organizational skills to schedule and prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and maintain orderly workflows within the workshop. - Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all work carried out in the workshop meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities. - Attention to Detail:
Exercise keen attention to detail when reviewing documentation, tracking inventory, and monitoring the progress of ongoing projects to identify potential issues or discrepancies. - Proactive Approach:
Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making, anticipating challenges and implementing proactive measures to mitigate risks and ensure smooth operations. - Communication Skills:
Maintain open and effective communication channels with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to coordinate activities, share information, and address any concerns or issues that may arise. - Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with workshop staff and other departments to foster a positive team environment, promote cross-functional collaboration, and achieve shared goals and objectives. - Change Management:
Lead or support change management initiatives aimed at implementing new processes, technologies, or organizational changes. Provide guidance and support to team members during periods of transition. - Compliance with Aviation Regulations:
Stay updated on relevant Aviation regulations and ensure that all activities within the workshop are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and safety standards. - Safety and Compliance Investigation:
Lead or participate in safety and compliance investigations to identify root causes of incidents or non-compliance issues. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address identified concerns and prevent recurrence. Ensure that all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered to throughout the workshop operations
